Welcome to High Tide Docks

High Tide Docks is owned and operated by Gary Fowler and Henry Powers of Milledgeville, Georgia. We specialize in design and construction of high quality docks and boat houses on Lake Sinclair. Fundamental to the quality of our docks is that we start with a solid foundation. We have our own pile driver mounted on a custom designed barge for driving poles deep enough to reach stable soil in the lake bottom. Our motto is, "Deeper poles make better docks."

Some of the quality characteristics we design into ever project:

• We use only "0.4 treated lumber" and heavy poles to maximize the life of the structure;
• Foundation poles are typically driven with the pile driver until they won't go any deeper without damaging the poles.
• Decking is 2 x 6 material held down with galvanized nails.

We can do the entire project or just the portion you specify. If you are a do-it-yourselfer or on a modest budget we can drive the poles and let you do the rest.
